The IC³R consortium agreement was adopted on 12 June 2020.

IC³R exists to provide a forum to coordinate evidence generation, synthesis, evaluation, and standard-setting for tumour classification and cancer research.

The IC³R consortium agreement, together with the initial strategy, provides a framework for participating institutions and helps IC³R to achieve its mission, as well as to ensure long-term stability and provide flexibility to accommodate growth and change.
